Chicago Bulls guard David Nwaba, a player who has had quite a journey into the NBA, not scared of LeBron James.

Nwaba has not been in the league for very long, and James is, well, James. Many young players who have played against him often have a sense of reverence and appropriate fear when the possibility of having to defend him is raised.

But not Nwaba. When the Bulls play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, Nwaba will be asked with defending the best basketball player on the planet right now. But to his credit, Nwaba thinks guarding James ain't no thang.

You have to love the confidence of Nwaba. Everyone will be watching this matchup, wondering how James will respond to having Nwaba, effectively an NBA newbie, guard him on defense.

Possibly the best part of this is that Nwaba is viewing guarding James mainly as a learning experience. He wants to see just how good a defender he is currently, and where he needs to improve. That's the mark of a player that really wants to be one of the best guys on the floor on any given night.

James will give Nwaba plenty to learn from, especially given his versatility on offense. Nwaba will have to defend post-ups, screen-roll actions and isolations, just to name a few.

Not that Nwaba has never defending those particular plays, but when those come from James, there's a different mindset a defender has to have because he is just so darn talented.

It will be interesting to see how Nwaba approaches the matchup, and how much he asks for help when defending James. The Bulls as a team are certain to lose, but perhaps Nwaba can get a personal win on the night.
