Bulls fans visiting the set of ESPN First Take on Friday morning made it clear that they are unhappy with their general manager, letting out a chant of “fire John Paxson” during Zach LaVine's live interview.

A lot has been said about the way Paxson has run the Bulls. This group of fans had no problem voicing their displeasure. Eventually, the show's moderator, Molly Qerim Rose, managed to stop the crowd from jeering to continue the interview:

“Do you have confidence that your GM can get you the help that you need?” Max Kellerman asked the Bulls talent.

Immediately, the crowd behind the set broke out in boos. LaVine, who will be participating in this season's 3-Point Contest, maintained his composure and delivered an answer:

“I'm with the team,” LaVine replied as the jeers aimed at Paxson grew louder.

This isn't the first time Bulls fans have displayed a high level of disdain for Paxson. In 2017, a billboard was put up in Chicago that read: “We're no longer seeing red. #FireGarPax”

LaVine is enjoying his best season in the NBA. The Bulls as a whole, however, have struggled, as their 19-36 overall record can attest. In his 55 appearances, the former UCLA Bruin has racked up averages of 25.3 points on 44.8 percent shooting from the field (38.5 percent from beyond the arc), 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 34.5 minutes per outing.

LaVine and the Bulls won't be back in action until February 20, when they'll serve as hosts to the Charlotte Hornets.
