As the Chicago Bulls were mounting a comeback win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, they were left without one player as guard Kris Dunn exited the game.

According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Dunn did not return to the game as he left with a sprained big toe on his right foot. This injury would happen with a few minutes left in the game as it could have been a cautious decision to sit out the young point guard on Thursday night.

With the injury now on his right big toe, it would be interesting to see if the Bulls will push Dunn back into play as they are nowhere near a playoff spot right now. As for the injury, Dunn seems to be able to come back on the court before the season ends as the x-rays came back negative according to Johnson.

Dunn finished off the night with only six points, four assists, two rebounds, and two steals in the win. He also added on 25 minutes on the court as the Bulls are going to need to find a replacement fast. At the moment, Cameron Payne or Jerian Grant could be a nice start filling in the void for the injured Dunn. The latter has gotten runs in the past while Dunn was nursing a different injury, while the former did a decent job picking up after Dunn as he registered eight points, three rebounds, and five assists for Chicago.

The Bulls won a nailbiter over the Grizzlies, 111-110.
