The Chicago Bulls don't have much to play for this regular season, and there also isn't a point in risking any players coming back from injury too soon. That's the case with second-year guard Kris Dunn, who has been dealing with a toe injury over the last week. According to Cody Westerlund of 670 The Score, coach Fred Hoiberg said that Dunn was dealing with a turf toe-like injury and that it could linger for a bit.

On Monday afternoon, however, the Bulls radio announcer Chuck Swirsky announced that Dunn had suffered a setback in his recovery from the toe injury, and that he was given a walking boot to wear to ease the pressure put on the toe.

The news is not what the Bulls wanted to hear, but since they're already trying to tank, it's clear they won't risk bringing him back early at all. Dunn also missed 11 games with a concussion he suffered after a nasty fall he took following a dunk against the Golden State Warriors.

After averaging just 3.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and one steal in just 17.1 minutes of action per game, Dunn has taken advantage of his opportunity with the Bulls this season averaging 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game in 29.3 minutes of action.
