The Chicago Bulls were dealt a huge scare as Zach LaVine left their game early against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night with an apparent knee injury. With the latest report on said injury, it looks like the team dodged a major bullet.

According to Bulls reporter KC Johnson, the MRI for Zach LaVine's knee reveals no structural damage. His knee had already been dealing with some soreness that was aggravated against the Warriors.

Zach LaVine’s MRI is done.Initial read is that it showed no structural damage, per sources. As reported last night, LaVine has been playing through knee soreness the last couple weeks. It has flared up occasionally ever since his ACL surgery. Team/LaVine still discussing timeline

The Bulls' official Twitter page indicated that therapy has already begun and that a “more definitive” timeline can be determined in about a week. The best part is the last bit there – “He is not expected to miss significant time.”
