The Chicago Bulls' Friday game against the Golden State Warriors got off to a rough start, as Chicago found themselves down after the first quarter. Not only that, but Bulls star guard Zach LaVine appeared to tweak his knee and was forced to leave the game with an apparent knee injury, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Per Charania, the Bulls ruled out Zach LaVine for the remainder of the game against the Warriors. LaVine finished the contest with zero points and one rebound.

LaVine appeared to suffer the injury while going up for a rebound. He took an intentional foul and exited the game with around eight minutes remaining in the first period. The Bulls star was able to walk off under his own power.

Per K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, LaVine is heading for tests but “the focus isn't an ACL injury.” In addition, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Bulls star will get an MRI on his knee on Saturday, but that the belief is that he didn't suffer a serious injury against the Warriors.

While Bulls fans received a real scare on Friday night against the Warriors, it sounds like the team dodged a bullet with the Zach LaVine injury.

Stay tuned.
