Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine has high praise for Duke freshman Zion Williamson, who is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2019 NBA Draft should he leave Duke after one season.

Zach LaVine says Zion Williamson is a “franchise-changer” and “a freak of nature.”

Zion Williamson is indeed a freak of nature. His head is above the rim on all of his dunks. The 18-year-old can get to the rim at will and he's built like Superman. Whichever team gets him in the NBA is likely going to get a once-in-a-generation NBA player.

Zach LaVine and the Bulls are hoping Zion Williamson lands in Chicago. The team is in desperate need of more talent on the roster. The Bulls are 12-40 on the season, 13th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Chicago hasn't had an electric player on its roster since a young Derrick Rose. The franchise has been a walking disaster ever since they traded All-Star guard Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the summer of 2017.

All of the losing and dysfunction which has been going on in The Windy City this season has to lead to Zion Williamson, or else the fans are going to be miserable.

LaVine, John Paxson and Gar Forman are hoping Zion is in a Bulls uniform this time next season. A trio of Williamson, LaVine and Lauri Markkanen would be very fun to watch.
