It’s been a whirlwind of a season for the Chicago Bulls, and the NBA season is only halfway done. Currently sitting at 10-31 and with seemingly no chance of sparking a playoff run, the Bulls seem content with their current structure despite the outcry of fans who want change.

In a new report by the Chicago Sun-Times’ Joe Cowley, many media members that cover the Bulls describe Gar Forman – the General Manager for the team – as a “made man,” and someone who is so beloved by the ownership of the Bulls that it’s unlikely he’ll be going anywhere.

After being quietly extended last year, Forman seems to be untouchable when it comes to change for the Bulls.

According to Cowley, the current structure of the Bulls seems to favor Forman, as the GM having has now fired two coaches (Tom Thibodeau and Fred Hoiberg) with seemingly no repercussions.

Thanks to this, many in the media and throughout the Bulls fanbase have begun to take notice of Forman, with some even calling for his removal from the team.

Throughout all of this, the team has stuck by Forman, and it seems as if they’ll be prepared to do that for the time being.

The Bulls currently sit with the second-worst record in the league, and while they do have some talented young players to build around, the current culture around the team is not exactly a friendly one.

Only time will tell if Forman will stick around as the Bulls GM past this season, but given their current track record, it might be a safe bet to assume they will.
