One of the weirdest events of Sunday afternoon was the celebration of Benny the Bull's birthday, the mascot of the Chicago Bulls. The celebration was so vibrant, Benny the Bull had his own piñata for his birthday.

Rob Perez laid it down perfectly — the NBA is definitely one of the weirdest leagues in the world. Disputes with referees, ridiculous fights, and an endless reel of sports bloopers make the league's brand of basketball an entertaining spectacle to watch.

There are truly no words to describe this event. Normally, there are all sorts of novelties going on during NBA games to entertain viewers in between game breaks. In fact, this event is a very common thing among NBA teams. Still, this video has to be the most awkward promo the Bulls could have thought of. Not only was it amazingly cringe-worthy, but the mascot designs threw everything off. They weren't the best designs. One could even say that Benny the Bull's costume was horrifying.

In any case, the Bulls are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference. Their season has been a disappointment, especially due to the ongoing rebuild that was started by the departure of franchise star Jimmy Butler and Dwayne Wade.

Nowadays, the Bulls have to put on shows like this to present the lighter side of the organization. With the postseason out of the question, the Bulls are just trying to win as many games as they can. Since Benny the Bull has turned yet another age, hopefully, he can cheer the Bulls to more victories. At this point, they are going to need all the help they can get.
