Zach LaVine once again stepped up for the Chicago Bulls.

Lavine had the chance to win it for the Bulls against the Clippers with the scores tied at 106-all and only five second left on the clock. Fortunately, he didn't let it go to waste as he banked a tough layup plus the foul to propel the team to victory.

LaVine made the extra free throw to give the Bulls a 109-106 win. He finished the game with 31 points on top of four rebounds and two assists.

Four other Bulls scored in double digits, with Thaddeus Young leading the bench unit with 17 markers. Lauri Markkanen had a double-double of 13 points and 17 boards.

The Clippers, meanwhile, felt the absence of Kawhi Leonard, Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams. Montrezl Harrell had 30 points off the bench while Paul George had 27, but their efforts were not enough as the rest of the team struggled.

Besides George, the rest of the starters combined for just 23 points through four quarters of play.

Chicago improved to 10-18 on the season, putting them well in place to contend for the seventh and eighth seeds in the relatively weak lower half of the Eastern Conference standings.
