The Arizona Cardinals will not have DeAndre Hopkins for the rest of the season and the beginning of the playoffs due to knee surgery, but their high-powered offense is getting some good news on the injury front ahead of Sunday's game against the lowly Detroit Lions.

Running back Chase Edmonds is set to return from his ankle injury, while fellow running back James Conner is going to play as well. Furthermore, star tight end Zach Ertz will also give it a go:

This is great news after the Hopkins bummer earlier this week. Even with Hopkins out, Arizona still has tons of talent on offense with all these other guys healthy, led by Kyler Murray, and the club shouldn't need Hopkins to beat a terrible Lions team that has only won a single game this season.

This will be Edmonds' first action since Nov. 7 against the San Francisco 49ers. Both Conner and Ertz played in last week's loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, but they did get a little banged up. Luckily, despite being questionable due to their respective injuries, it looks like they're going to give it a go.

The Cardinals are 10-3 on the season and in a battle for the top record in the NFC with the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (both 10-3), as well as for the NFC West crown. The Rams are just a game behind them.

Looking ahead, ESPN's Adam Schefter says Hopkins likely won't be back unless Arizona reaches the NFC Championship Game, and even that's not a definite. There's obviously still plenty of work to be done to get there.
