Maybe the Arizona Cardinals aren't so dead set on taking Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick after all?

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Cardinals will be bringing in Ohio State defensive lineman Nick Bosa for a visit on Friday, one week after the team had dinner with the pass rusher.

Now, of course, this could just be Arizona doing its due diligence. After all, you can host 30 in-house prospect visits leading up to the NFL Draft, and Bosa is considered one of the top young players in this year's draft class.

As far as the Cardinals blowing smoke? That is possible, as throwing teams off the trail of who they want to draft could potentially increase the trade value of quarterback Josh Rosen, although rival teams will likely know what Arizona is doing in that regard anyway.

The general consensus is that the Cards will be taking Murray with the top draft choice in next month's draft and that they will end up trading Rosen to clear room for him.

There has been talk that Rosen, who Arizona took with its first-round pick last year, does not have all that much trade value, with some suggesting that the Cardinals won't receive anything more than a third-round pick in return.

Still, given the fact that Rosen had a rather dreadful rookie year and that Arizona is starving for offense does lend credence toward the notion that the club will be going with Murray at No. 1.

Either way, this is a rather interesting development.
