The Arizona Cardinals might be without their top two wide receivers, DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green, Sunday at San Francisco.

All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins pulled up lame following a 55-yard reception in last week's loss to Green Bay. He forced his way into the game late, but his ability to play this week is in doubt. Wednesday, Hopkins did not participate in practice, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.

Hopkins will still have two days to get in some limited work at practice. Meanwhile, he is not the only receiver set to miss action.

According to NFL Insider for ESPN, Field Yates, Green was placed on the COVID-19 list Wednesday.

The Cardinals added Green this offseason to add some depth at the position. The results have been mostly positive. Midway through the season, Green has 456 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns. He has added another vertical threat, helping take Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offense to another level.

With A.J. Green out and DeAndre Hopkins either not at full strength or not playing altogether, this opens the door for newly acquired tight end Zach Ertz and wide receivers Christian Kirk and Rondale Moore to showcase their skills.

In two games since being traded to Arizona, Ertz has already made an impact. He has over 100 yards receiving and a touchdown since joining the team.

Christian Kirk has been mostly consistent all season. He, along with rookie wide receiver Rondale Moore will look to take advantage of a banged up 49ers secondary. Moore exploded in his 2nd career NFL game with 114 yards receiving and a touchdown week 2, but has been mostly quiet since then.
