Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray sent the NFL world into a frenzy when he performed a “social media cleanse”, deleting and unfollowing anything related to the franchise on his Instagram account. Murray's cryptic actions have sparked speculation as to what his true intentions are. Former teammates have commented on the Murray drama and now a current Cardinals teammate has spoken out. Wide receiver Christian Kirk got real on his own future amid the Murray saga, via NBC Sports.

But Kirk did confirm that heading into free agency in March, he will factor Murray’s thinking into his plans.

“The guy is doing what he needs to do, and I have no control over that and yeah. That’s all I’ll say on that one,” Kirk said, via Jeff Vinton of 12 News. “If I’m not reacting to it, I don’t think anybody else should. But like I said, his decisions are his decisions, and I’ve been off of social media, but I hear the noise. So, I’m going to keep staying off of social media and just enjoy my offseason.”

Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk commented on his own future, saying that what Kyler Murray does will indeed factor into his own plans. As expected, Kirk acknowledged that he does “hear the noise”, but that if he, one of Murray's closest friends, doesn't react to it, then other people shouldn't either.

While Christian Kirk didn't reveal anything too noteworthy about what led to this situation between the franchise and Kyler Murray, it's clear that any decision that arises from this drama involving the star will be a franchise-altering move in many ways.
