The Arizona Cardinals were able to temporarily address their dire need under center with the addition of quarterback Sam Bradford this offseason. Despite mixed reviews, running back David Johnson is among those who are excited about the signing.

Bradford has endured an injury-riddled career up to this point and the 2017 NFL season was no different. However, Johnson said during an appearance on SiriusXM Mad Dog Sports Radio that Arizona will be one of the best offenses in the league if the veteran quarterback is healthy:

“Oh, we're going to be great if Sam Bradford's healthy,” Johnson replied. “From me watching him personally, I've seen him do some great things. The biggest thing is just being healthy.

“Not just with the addition of him but with also with the linemen we got, the receivers and everyone else that we have added to the team on the offensive side, I think we definitely will be the top offense in the league this year.”

Last year was a frustrating one for both Bradford and Johnson after their seasons were cut short with injuries. That said, they will each be looking to bounce back this year with a Cardinals team that has undergone some significant changes.

Bradford enjoyed a bit of a resurgence with the Minnesota Vikings in the 2016 campaign. He was well on his way to capitalizing on his efforts until a knee injury ended his season after two games. When healthy, Bradford is one of the most accurate passers in the league. However, such uncertainty has raised speculation as to whether or not Arizona may be willing to trade up in the 2018 NFL Draft to to select a quarterback.
