Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Ward was carted off the field after a brutal collision as he went to tackle Green Bay Packers' Kylin Hill on a return play.
Hill was sent crashing at around the 10-yard line, but it was the Cardinals' Ward that took the brunt of the damage. He went head first into the Packers running back and went down in a heap right after.
The good news for Cardinals fans is that he was seen giving a thumbs up as he lied on the stretcher, letting everyone know that he's okay.
Ward is reportedly dealing with a potential concussion and neck injury, but he's moving properly which is definitely a good sign, per PFF reporter Ari Meirov.
Cardinals say RB Jonathan Ward has movement in all his extremities. He's being evaluated for a concussion and a neck injury.
Here's to hoping for a swift recovery.
