The Arizona Cardinals still hold the NFC's best record at 9-2, despite dealing with injuries to their two best players, quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Well, the latest update on Murray and Hopkins should excite Cardinals fans.

That's big for the Cardinals. General manager Steve Keim had hinted at Hopkins returning following the team's Week 12 bye- and Murray himself had hinted at his possible return.

Of course, there's no word on if Murray and Hopkins were limited or full participants at Cardinals' practice, though it's still exciting for the two to return to the practice field regardless of status.

The Cardinals have scored big divisional wins against the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks without Murray and Hopkins- and are holding a narrow lead for the conference's number-one seed over the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Returning two of the NFL's elite playmakers at their respective positions would go a long way towards helping Arizona secure home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs.

With upcoming games against the 4-7 Chicago Bears, the struggling Los Angeles Rams, and the winless Detroit Lions, the Cardinals could be in a position to cruise through the rest of their schedule.

Having Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins back would only make things easier for the Cardinals, too.
