The Arizona Cardinals will bolster their receiver corps following their tie against the Detroit Lions. According to Kyle Odegard, Michael Crabtree is expected to make his debut for the team next week against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Cardinals signed the veteran receiver nearly two weeks ago to a one-year deal. On Sunday, Kliff Kingsbury announced that Crabtree was a healthy scratch due to not being acclimated into the offense yet.

Prior to joining the Cardinals, the Texas Tech product actually spent the 2018 season with the Cardinals' opponent in Week 2—the Ravens. With the Ravens, Crabtree caught 54 passes for 607 yards and three touchdowns last season.

Crabtree's numbers from 2018 were all the lowest of his career since he had just 19 receptions, 284 yards, and a touchdown in 2013. However, that year, Richard Sherman's favorite receiver missed 11 games due to injury.

Now, Michael Crabtree will be joining an Arizona team that could use another veteran presence at wide receiver; aside from Larry Fitzgerald. In Week 1, Kingsbury's offense seemed to be stagnant for the first three-quarters of the game until No. 1 pick Kyler Murray found his rhythm with the wide receivers.

To no one's surprise, Fitzgerald led the way in the receiving department with eight receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown. Comparatively, the rest of the receivers combined for 13 catches and 120 yards.

Therefore, the Cardinals could use Michael Crabtree in their offense to ease some of the pressure off their rookie quarterback's shoulders. The 31-year-old pass-catcher is working towards his season debut against a team he is familiar with.
