Kenyan Drake appears to be enjoying the desert. On his first drive as a member of the Arizona Cardinals, the former Miami Dolphins running back tallied three carries for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Drake finished his first drive as a Redbird with a four-yard touchdown rush, in which he powered through a tackle and leaped towards the goal line. The score put the Cardinals up over the San Francisco 49ers. It was his first rushing touchdown of the season.

Before rushing for his first touchdown as a Cardinal, Drake batted off a 36-yard rush — which was his first attempt as a member of the team. In Miami, his season-long rush was 11 yards.

The Cardinals traded for Drake earlier in the week. He struggled with the Dolphins but appears to have the talent well-worth the sixth-round selection they gave up for him. The Alabama product needs just three more rushing yards to match his season-high for a game.
