Arizona Cardinals rookie gunslinger Kyler Murray hooked up with veteran wideout Larry Fitzgerald for the first score of the game in the Week 3 bout with the Carolina Panthers:

Murray, 22, made a goal-line pass to the 36-year-old Fitzgerald, the rookie quarterback's third career passing touchdown. It was the 11-time Pro Bowl receiver's 118th career receiving TD.

The Cardinals selected Murray out of Oklahoma with the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft last April, later shipping last year's first-round QB selection Josh Rosen to the Miami Dolphins for two picks.

So far, so good for Murray, who led a feverish comeback in Week 1 to force overtime and eventually tie the Detroit Lions. Last week against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, however, Murray and the Cards lost by a six-point margin.
