Despite the fact that he's 42 years old, Vince Carter can still get up and play a little defense.

The oldest player in the NBA — and the only player in NBA history to play in 22 seasons — swatted former All-Star forward Kevin Love as the Cleveland Cavaliers big man was attempting a 3-point jump shot. Needless to say, Love gave a playful shove to his fellow veteran following the play.

Carter — who will become the first player in NBA history to play in four different decades once 2020 comes around — still has some of the hops that he made him the Slam Dunk champion back in 2000.

The 42-year-old Carter continues to play a decent-sized role in the Atlanta Hawks' rotation during his 22nd season, averaging 15.8 minutes per game.

With that said, enjoy these moments of Carter while you have them as the veteran swingman has already stated that this will indeed be his final season. The former All-Star swingman has now played in 1,506 career games — fourth-most in NBA history.
