The Boston Celtics embarrassed the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal duel on Sunday afternoon.

The Celtics had answers for everything the Bucks threw at them, and the game was never in doubt for the Beantown team. The interior defense of Al Horford and Aron Baynes was crucial to Boston stifling Giannis Antetokounmpo, forcing The Greek Freak to take a tough shot after tough shot.

Horford was brilliant, finishing with 20 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal as well.  Baynes was also great in his nine minutes, but he suffered a left ankle sprain in the game that took him out for the rest of the evening.

Now, according to the Celtics’ official injury report, Baynes is questionable for Game 2 on Tuesday.

The Celtics really need Aron Baynes in the middle, especially when Horford is out. They have Daniel Theis and Guerschon Yabusele, but the former is too thin and stringy while the latter is far too slow to stop Giannis.

Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer is confident that his team can bounce back in Game 2, and it will only boost their confidence if Baynes is sidelined. With that said, the Celtics can only hope that Baynes will be able to play and provide quality minutes when they meet Milwaukee on Tuesday, April 30.
