βInside the NBAβ host Charles Barkley has not exactly been on point with his recent predictions in the playoffs. He was recently called out for the same by a fellow Hall of Famer, with Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell clowning Barkley for his recent inaccuracy.
Russell was tuned in to the Game 7 meeting between his beloved Celtics and the Toronto Raptors, and unsurprisingly, the 11-time champ was taking Boston to win the contest. It was Russell who was surprised when he realized how off Barkley has been with his βguarantees,β and the legendary big man could not help but take a shot at Barkley.

To be fair, Barkley has been nothing less than awful with his recent predictions. He earlier had the Portland Trail Blazers going all the way to the Finals, and even said that they would sweep the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round. Most recently, Barkley also claimed that the Los Angeles Clippers would dominate the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 to advance to the next round. Needless to say, he was absolutely wrong on all accounts.
Bill Russell was understandably excited following Boston's 92-87 series-clinching victory. Naturally, he took out some of his enthusiasm on Barkley. His parting barb came complete with an epic Jon Stewart meme.
Charles, that is how you give a Guarantee!! Learn from the Master πππππππππππ @celtics vs @Raptors @NBAonTNT #NBAPlayoffs pic.twitter.com/X05DKPWP1M

If there's anyone who has the right to talk smack against Barkley, then one of them has got to be the great Bill Russell. He did exactly that on Friday, as he made sure to rub some salt into Barkley's wounds.
