Brad Stevens already has a good idea of what improvements he needs to make on the Boston Celtics roster, and it looks like he is ready to go all-out to further strengthen the team.

The Celtics came two wins short from the Larry O'Brien trophy, but they have definitely proven that they are a championship-caliber team. Now, what's left for the franchise is to build off that success and make sure they can maintain their dominance in the years to come.

For Stevens, it seems the first step is adding a little more depth to the second unit. He's happy with the way the bench performed throughout the East playoffs, but he knew they could use some help after seeing them struggle in the NBA Finals.

“I felt like our depth was really good through the East, and then obviously we struggled off the bench in the finals,” Stevens said, per Jay King of The Athletic.

So how does Brad Stevens plan to address the Celtics' roster needs? While he didn't go into detail about it, he did mention that he has already gotten the green light to use their traded player exceptions or TPEs.

The Celtics have eight TPEs, but only three are significant and could be critical in getting a player that could help them. The said TPEs are for $17.1 million, $6.9 million and $5.9 million.

“We've got the OK to do whatever we need to do,” Stevens said of their TPEs.

It is still unclear what moves the Celtics plan to make, but it is certainly an exciting offseason for the East champions.
