The Boston Celtics suffered another disappointing loss on Sunday, falling to the New Orleans Pelicans, 120-155, in overtime. After the game, Cs head coach Brad Stevens was understandably upset with his squad's performance, pinpointing one specific area he believes they must improve on.

According to Stevens, Boston's ability to close out games is something he intends to work on constantly:

“We got a lot of things to clean up, obviously. Finishing the game is number one,” Stevens said, via A. Sherrod Blakely of Bleacher Report.

The Celtics actually amassed a significant lead against the Pelicans on Sunday, only to allow their opponents to mount a comeback win. New Orleans outscored Boston 46-28 in the fourth period and overtime.

Jayson Tatum came out with another outstanding performance for the Celtics, including a clutch basket to force the game to OT. Nonetheless, his noteworthy effort came in another frustrating defeat.

Sunday's loss was Boston's third in their last five games. In the month of February, they've only logged five victories in 12 contests. They are currently sitting at the fifth seed in the East with a 15-15 record. Nonetheless, it's tight in the Eastern Conference right now, and the Celtics could easily slide out of the playoffs picture if they keep losing games.

The Celtics are in the middle of a three-game road trip that also involves a back-to-back set on Tuesday and Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks and the Atlanta Hawks, respectively. Needless to say, Boston will be looking to log a couple of victories to close out their road stint.
