The Boston Celtics secured another victory on Friday night, as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 129-117. Following the game, Cavs big man Kevin Love — who himself was outstanding for his team with 30 points (on 10-of-16 shooting), six 3-pointers, seven rebounds, and four assists — could not help but sing the praises of two of Boston's most promising young rising stars. According to Love, he believes that the type of attitude possessed by both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown is what impresses him the most.

“You see progression from both of those guys and they’re going to continue to get better because they’re so young and hungry to get better,” said Love, via Celtics insider Chris Forsberg.

Brown was amazing on Friday, logging a game-high 34 points on 13-of-20 shooting, along with five 3-pointers, nine rebounds, and two assists in 29 minutes of action. The same can be said about Tatum, who himself accounted for 30 points (on 11-of-20 from the field), five 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists, and a couple of blocks. Together, these two powered the C's to their fifth consecutive victory on Friday.

Both guys have been playing at such a high level, and at this point, it is safe to say that these two have significantly improved on their respective games this season. Tatum and Brown have been instrumental for the Celtics and their current 22-7 record, which is good for the second-best record in the East. There's still a long way to go, but it is without question that these two will play crucial roles in their team's potential title challenge this term.
