The Boston Celtics lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night, 108-103. This was an embarrassing loss from the Celtics as Minnesota is without Karl Anthony-Towns, Anthony Edwards, and D'Angelo Russell.

Ime Udoka wasn't too happy after the game and had this to say about the Celtics,

“We were undisciplined defensively. We got carved up with our switching. Undisciplined shot-taking.”

The Celtics just haven't been looking like a great basketball team. Giving up 108 points to the Timberwolves who don't have their three best players is completely unacceptable. Losing to them is one thing because the Celtics were without Jayson Tatum, but giving up 108 points to a team that doesn't have their three best players should never happen. They allowed some very below-average players to look like stars against them on Monday.

It doesn't seem like Boston season is going to turn around anytime soon as they just can't get things rolling. This has been a year-and-a-half of them playing .500 basketball and fans are starting to get upset over the team's play. There's way too much talent on their roster to continue being a .500 team so expect some moves to be made during the trade deadline. They did not do anything during free agency this summer and that has come back to haunt them. They simply just aren't a good enough team to compete with the other top teams in the Eastern Conference.
