It hasn’t been an easy season for the Boston Celtics, who have lost three straight games before they took on the Orlando Magic on Sunday. Led by first time All-Star Jaylen Brown, the Cs finally snapped their losing streak with a 112-96 victory to end the week.

Brown, who put up 34 points behind a career-high 10 3-pointers, was exceptional for the Celtics. After the game, he compared his impressive performance to Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. In a tweet Brown sent out, he said that he “felt like Stephen Curry.”

Not a bad comparison at all, especially after his impressive showing from long distance.

Jaylen Brown also got some help from his teammates, specifically from fellow All-Star Jayson Tatum who scored 23 points in an efficient 5-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Tatum had 19 points in the first half that helped the Celtics gain momentum entering the break.

It was in the third quarter that really swung the game to the Celtics’ way though, thanks to Brown’s seven made 3-pointers. Both Brown and Tatum sparked a 19-6 run to start the third quarter.

The Celtics hope to keep their 3-point shooting on fleek in the upcoming week as they have a tough schedule ahead. They’ll be going up against the Memphis Grizzlies on the second day of a back-to-back on Monday followed by the Milwaukee Bucks, whom they will face twice before taking on Oklahoma City Thunder.
