Boston Celtics superstar Kyrie Irving was not too impressed with how the referees called Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinals showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Celtics took a 123-116 loss at home and surrendered the homecourt advantage they stole from the Bucks in Game 1 of the series. However, Irving believes that they could have gotten a better chance to protect their homecourt, blasting officiating during his postgame presser.

Per Jay King of The Athletic, Irving said that when he looked at the box scores, he thought some of the numbers would come off the page, citing the free-throw disparity in the third quarter. The All-Star guard also cited the number of free throws Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo attempted in the game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks took control in the third quarter, when they scored 40 points compared to the 31 of the Celtics. Milwaukee never looked back en route to the win.

Giannis led his team with his all-around production, finishing with 32 points on 8-for-13 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds, eight assists, three blocks and two steals. George Hill provided a huge lift off the bench with 21 points on 9-for-13 shooting, while Khris Middleton ended up with 20 points and five assists.

Milwaukee will look to take a 3-1 lead and move closer to clinching a spot in the East Finals when they face the Celtics again on Monday, May 6,  in Boston.
