If the current 2022 playoffs trend continues, the Boston Celtics are on the path to winning the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

Apparently, both the Celtics and Warriors have not lost back-to-back games this postseason. And so if Golden State is unable to break that pattern, they are in trouble. Boston is 7-0 in games after a loss in the playoffs, while the Dubs are 6-0.

Boston won the first game of the series on the road, and while Stephen Curry and the Warriors have tied things up at 2-2, many still favor the Celtics to come out on top and take the Larry O'Brien trophy.

Making things even more interesting for the Celtics, they actually haven't lost consecutive games since January. Yes, that's how good they have been.

The Warriors haven't been challenged a lot in the playoffs. Aside from the second round against the Memphis Grizzlies that took six games to finish, they only needed five games to beat the Denver Nuggets (First Round) and Dallas Mavericks (West Finals).

On the other hand, the Celtics have been battle-tested. They both needed seven games to repel the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat in their East playoffs run, and they proved time and time again that they know how to bounce back.

With that said, Game 5 will be crucial for both teams. Not only will it give the winner a 3-2 lead, but it could very well be the decider on who'll go home with the championship. The Warriors would want to break the streak and take the W, while the Celtics will look to make a statement that won't lose two games in a row.
