Boston Celtics point guard Terry Rozier is coming off the best season of his career. He was a consistent role player for the Celtics for most of the regular season, but he became one of the most exciting and efficient young stars of the 2018 NBA Playoffs.

Rozier knew he was garnering attention, but it didn't truly hit him how big he had made it until one particular actor noticed him, according to GQ's Clay Skipper.

“Man, Urkel. We were out to eat in LA. He was with his bodyguards. He got up to leave and he tapped me. ‘You had a great year.' Everybody knows who Steve Urkel is. That was nuts. It's been crazy all summer. People can take it two ways. They can either be satisfied or it can be a thing where, ‘I want this to happen forever.' It's definitely humbling and it's a blessing. I want this to always be like this.

Jaleel White may not be center stage anymore, but fans like Rozier will never forget the iconic Steve Urkel role he played on “Family Matters” back in the 1990s. It was a shock for Rozier to see someone he grew up watching on television give him praise. If Rozier was this ecstatic about White, he has a world of excitement ahead of him.

Most people only know White as Urkel. Rozier hopes his real name eclipses the “Scary Terry” moniker he adopted during the playoffs. As he continues to grow as a player, so will his popularity.
