Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is considered one of the smoothest young scorers in the league, possessing the length, athleticism and touch that is unmatched by many.

On Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers, Tatum's offensive prowess was on full display, particularly on this play where he basically shook the entire Pacers defense for an easy two.

If you have watched Indiana this year, you would know that making its defense look silly like Jayson Tatum did there is not an easy task, as the Pacers actually rank second in the league in defensive efficiency.

Tatum is in his second season after being selected by the Celtics with the third overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft.

Boston originally owned the No. 1 pick in that draft but traded down to acquire the No. 3 selection and future assets from the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers ended up taking Markelle Fultz while the C's grabbed Tatum.

It seems safe to say that the Celtics have won that deal.

Going into Wednesday night, Tatum was averaging 16.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals over 31.2 minutes per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor, 36.6 percent from 3-point range and 85.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Last season, Tatum put the league on notice with an impressive rookie campaign and an even more impressive playoff run in which he registered 18.5 points, 4.4 boards, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals a night. He also made 47.1 percent of his shots, 32.4 percent of his triples and 84.5 percent of his foul shots during that incredible postseason stretch.

Oh, and he posterized LeBron James, which has made him a YouTube legend for the rest of his life.
