Matched up against his former teammate in Al Horford, Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum showed no mercy.

With a quick hesitation move, Tatum was able to drive past Ben Simmons only to find Horford guarding the paint midway through the first quarter of their game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 21-year-old star then went up up strong against the former Celtic and put him on a poster in the process.

The emphatic dunk was only a sampling of Tatum's quick start against the Sixers on Saturday. Halfway through the first quarter, Tatum already had 11 points.

Horford and Tatum played together as Celtics teammates during Tatum's first two seasons. Horford served as the veteran and defensive anchor for the Boston squad that made the Eastern Conference Finals two times in his three seasons with the franchise.

This season, Jayson Tatum is averaging a career-high 22.9 points per game to go along with 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 43.6 percent from the field and 36.3 percent from beyond the arc. With the spectacular season he is having, Tatum was recently named as one of the All-Star reserves for the East.
