NBA Hall of Fame forward and current TNT analyst Charles Barkley added another entry to his ever-growing blooper reel, calling Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma, “Karl Kuzma,” prior to the team's Game 1 matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Barkley was sitting down with his “Inside the NBA” co-hosts Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith when he began discussing the Lakers' supposed wildcard against the Trail Blazers as the No. 1 seed sets to take on the surging Damian Blazers and play-in winners of the eighth seed.

In true “Chuckster” fashion, Barkley slurred his words resulting in this hilarious gaffe over the Lakers youngster.

Barkley's best “frenemy” O'Neal, a former three-time champion with the Lakers, quickly called out Barkley's slip of the tongue. Johnson, on the other hand, played his usual role as a mediator.

He claimed Sir Charles meant to call the third-year Lakers forward “Kyle,” but was misheard since Barkley and O'Neal were sitting on opposing ends of the TNT panel.

For sure Barkley means well, but no doubt he definitely said “Karl.” Lakers fans are sure to remember this new nickname.

Never change, Chuck. Never change.
