Romelu Lukaku joined Chelsea this summer in a shock move after Inter Milan previously made it clear they wouldn't sell their talisman. The Belgian recently spoke out on his decision to leave the San Siro for another chance at Stamford Bridge and discussed how the entire process went down. Via Fabrizio Romano:

Chelsea ultimately paid €115 million for Lukaku, who solidified himself as one of the most clinical finishers in Europe after two tremendous seasons with Inter. He got off to a flying start with the Blues as he scored in his debut against Arsenal and proved how important he can be to Thomas Tuchel's attack. The 28-year-old did struggle to muster up any opportunities in his second appearance vs. Liverpool, but it didn't help that Chelsea played with 10 men for most of the fixture.

It remains to be seen if Lukaku will be the missing piece to the puzzle for the Blues, but early signs point to him being a fantastic addition. His hold-up play has improved immensely, especially with his back to goal. The strength Lukaku has on the ball is certainly noticeable and to be honest, he's more of a complete striker than ever before. The Belgium international also has a point to prove after a failed stint with Chelsea from 2011-2014, where he made just 10 appearances for the club and eventually went on loan to West Brom and Everton, later joining the Toffees on a full-time basis.

While Romelu Lukaku was a standout performer in Italy, it's a much different dynamic than the Premier League. But, his ability to score goals and pick out a pass should definitely be key at Chelsea as they look to contend for a Premier League title and another Champions League trophy.
