The Buffalo Bills-Kansas City Chiefs game on January 23rd, 2022 will go down as one of the most memorable playoff games in recent memory. Patrick Mahomes was the man who came out of the madness as the victor.

The Chiefs quarterback showed nothing but respect for both his teammates and his Bills counterpart in Josh Allen, who matched him step for step in the closing moments of the game.

Via CBS:

“It was a heck of a game,” said the Chiefs QB. “I mean 17, Josh, played his ass off. Pardon my language. It was a great game between two great football teams and at the end of the day, guys like Tyreek and Travis made the plays that won us the game.”

“We're going to play this team a lot of times in games like this. With that quarterback, with that coaching staff and the players that they have, it's going to be a lot of battles. I'm glad we got this one.”

Kansas City looked dead in the water not once, but twice against the Bills. But Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and the rest of the Chiefs made the plays at exactly the right moments the team needed them.
