Ninety-seven was the all-important number for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill last year as it pertained to Madden NFL 18. It's the number that represented his speed in the only NFL video-game simulation on the market.

Hill, one of the fastest players in all the land, wasn't too pleased with the number. In fact, he feels so slighted that he's since taken it up with the good folks at EA Sports in attempt to push that mark to the height of 99 in the next edition, Madden NFL 19. He explained his stance to Mike Florio while on PFT Live.

Hill, 24, is as explosive as it comes. In addition to wide-receiving duties within Andy Reid's offense, the man is, arguably, the best return-player in the game. In two seasons (31 games), Hill's tallied a total of four return touchdowns (three punt returns, one kick return).

In addition to his receiving and return game, he's also added 326 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, good enough for a crisp 10.5 yards per carry. And, oh yeah, he finished the 2018 season with a cool 1,183 yards and seven touchdowns on 75 overall grabs.

Look for Hill's speed number this coming August when EA Sports Madden NFL 19 is released. Will Tyreek Hill's 97-speed rating increase to 98 or, perhaps, that elusive 99?
