Cowboys rookie Micah Parsons is prepared to be starstruck this weekend when he finally gets to play against Patrick Mahomes. The first year linebacker is looking forward to see him in action, according to The Athletic's Dallas Cowboys reporter Jon Machota's Twitter page.

Parsons complimented Mahomes on his throwing power, as well as “his ability to throw no-looks.” He deemed Mahomes a terrific player and even a future Hall of Famer.

It's safe to say that Mahomes and the 6-4 Chiefs have been struggling this season. However, Parsons is still right to praise Mahomes. He is second in the league in leading passing yards with 2,940 yards. The only quarterback above him is Matthew Stafford with 3,014 passing yards.

The Cowboys rookie from Penn State also told a bit about himself while commending Mahomes and may have fan girled a little bit. Apparently, the first round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft plays Madden, and he loves Mahomes in the game.

“I mean, this is a guy I like on Madden,” Parsons said. “So my first time playing him, I’m really excited to see what he does in person.”

Parsons has had weeks of opportunities to meet and play against some of the best quarterbacks in the league. He even faced Tom Brady in the first official game of his career. However, it seems that this match up is something that he is looking forward to as someone who respects Mahomes' gameplay.

The Cowboys have a better record going into Sunday evening's matchup. However, Mahomes and the Chiefs are expected to get the home win.
