Newly signed running back LeāVeon Bell gained 16 yards and a first down Sunday afternoon against the Denver Broncos, showcasing his explosiveness on his first carry for a Kansas City Chiefs team that already had an embarrassment of riches on the offensive side of the football.

Weaving his way through a hole provided by the offensive line, Bellās ability to navigate around a swarming defense has to be considered a good sign for the Chiefs, as the signing of the erstwhile running back was accompanied by concerns that he had lost a step.
Not looked upon as the offensive cornerstone in Kansas City, in the way that he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets, Bell is expected to share rushing duties with Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and utilize his size in goal line situations and blocking routes.
While this will likely remain the plan going forward, his initial run Sunday, showed Bell may be another explosive weapon for a team overflowing with them.
