Kansas City Chiefs star safety Tyrann Mathieu picked off New England Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham after wideout Julian Edelman dropped an easy pass.

Take a look:

You don't usually see Julian Edelman drop passes, especially easy ones like this. Jarrett Stidham replaced Brian Hoyer for the Patriots, so maybe Edelman isn't used to Stidham's passes.

New England is playing without Cam Newton, who tested positive for COVID-19. Tom Brady, of course, is on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As for Tyrann Mathieu, he's been one of the best defensive players in the NFL since coming out of LSU, so this is nothing new for the Honey Badger.

The Chiefs look like they are well on their way to possibly repeating as Super Bowl champions. The offense and defense are clicking on all cylinders early in the season.

The Chiefs will look to improve to 5-0 in Week 5 when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders, who are 2-2 and on a two-game losing streak.
