Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen hasn't played club football since his scary collapse at Euro 2020 with Denmark. The former Tottenham man had to be revived by doctors and has essentially been on the mend ever since after being fitted with a defibrillator because of the cardiac arrest.

Due to the rules in Serie A, Eriksen isn't allowed to play in Italy again with his heart condition. The Dane's agent spoke out on his client's footballing future and made it clear that it's still very unknown if he will ever play the sport again. Via Goal:

Christian Eriksen recently started training with his boyhood club in Denmark on his own as the January transfer window approaches. It's unclear if he would be able to play in other countries with his current condition, but ultimately, it will be up to him and how he feels.

At just 29-years-old, there are definitely several years of football left in Eriksen, but after such a scary turn of events in Copenhagen, you'd have to believe the player and his family are absolutely frightened that it could happen again.

Christian Eriksen's current deal with Inter runs until 2024 but it's quite evident that it will not be fulfilled. The Nerazzurri have voiced their willingness to help Eriksen find another club though where he can play on a regular basis.
