Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum now has something in common with singers Justin Bieber and Post Malone, as all three are endorsers of Crocs, a company best-known for making foam clogs.

One of the most underrated players in the NBA is growing his brand. He has come a long way from being the 10th overall pick in the 2013 draft. CJ McCollum had a four-year collegiate career at Lehigh, which is not exactly an NBA factory. In fact, he is the only NBA player to ever come from that school.

From playing in limited minutes in his first two professional seasons, CJ McCollum exploded into the scene in 2015-2016, when he averaged 20.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.2 steals, per game, while shooting an impressive 41.7% from deep. These numbers were good enough for him to win the Most Improved Player award. Portland has just found a backcourt partner for its star Damian Lillard.

CJ McCollum has not looked back since and has only gotten better. He is one of the best players to have not yet been selected to an All-Star team. This is understandable as the Western Conference has been loaded with elite guards.

He has been sidelined with an injury for most of the season and has only played in 17 games. Since his return to the court on March 16, the Blazers have won three of their last four outings. The team is being cautious with his minutes, as they need him down the stretch and the postseason. Portland is at the sixth spot in the West with a 25-17 record.
