Despite his postseason reputation, Clayton Kershaw took the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the World Series, leading them to an overwhelming victory.
In six amazing innings, he only allowed two hits and one run. Moreover, with the help of a Dodgers offense that scored eight runs in the first game of the World Series, Clayton Kershaw forced eight Tampa hitters to the bench with strikeouts.
1 down! @ClaytonKersh22 was himself(which is AMAZING), @mookiebetts did it all, @Cody_Bellinger went yard again and the whole team was simply damn good! @Dodgers. #OnToTheNextOne

Basically, in the least roundabout way as humanly possible, no one will be able to trot about the planet for the few days calling the guy a choker, as he dispelled all previous tropes in Game 1 of the World Series. Clayton Kershaw is a hero to many, too, apparently, including Magic Johnson.
Clayton Kershaw pitched a superb game giving up only 2 hits in the @Dodgers 8-3 victory over the Rays. He passed John Smoltz for the second-most strikeouts in postseason history!

If we want to be even more blunt: The Clayton Kershaw postseason curse is dead. Long live Clutch Clayton and a Dodgers team now only three wins away from capturing the World Series.
Obviously, plenty of people reacted to the dominant performance from the pitcher, as well as the team in general. From athletes to general humans, the globe is active in reaction.

But folks were not done celebrating Clayton Kershaw dominating Game 1 of the World Series for the Dodgers. Not by a long shot.

Nonetheless, what did you guys think of Game 1 of the World Series? Did you expect the Dodgers to walk way with an easy win? Furthermore, did you expect Clayton Kershaw to ball out in such a dominant way?
