To begin the 2017-18 NBA season and a new era without Chris Paul, the Los Angeles Clippers won their first four games. Unfortunately, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and company came back down to earth and have lost 11 out of their last 13 games.

As the Clippers are dealing with numerous injuries during this difficult stretch, there have been rumors surrounding Jordan and head coach Doc Rivers' futures in Los Angeles. While the Clippers will ‘probably' stick with Lou Williams in the starting lineup against the Sacramento Kings, Rivers hinted at some changes according to Michael Gallagher of Roto World:

With Patrick Beverley already out for the remainder of the season and uncertainty surrounding Danilo Gallinari and Milos Teodosic, Rivers will need to get creative with his lineups. In the 116-103 win over the Atlanta Hawks, the starters — which included Wesley Johnson and Austin Rivers — all played at least 36 minutes against the second-worst team in the league.

As the Clippers are in unfamiliar territory for the first time since the 2011-12 season, it will be interesting to see how they respond to this adversity led by Griffin and Jordan. If the Clippers continue to struggle to win games, the trade rumors will grow louder.
