Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James recently reiterated his stance on load management, noting that he's going to play if he is healthy. Now, Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has chimed in on James' comments, saying that resting their players throughout the regular season is their team's philosophy.

Rivers and the Clippers staff have been receiving shots from critics regarding their load management practice on Kawhi Leonard. There are games wherein Leonard doesn't suit up. It's not because he's injured, but because they feel its best for him to rest. After all, the NBA regular season is a long one.

Last Sunday, James was asked for his opinion regarding the matter. The four-time MVP, who has showcased his superhuman-like durability in his 17 years in the NBA, doesn't believe in such antics. For James, it's his obligation to suit up every game being that he doesn't know how many games he has left and how many kids are watching every single night.

From the looks of it, Rivers and the Clippers will stick to their philosophy. They have been able to close out games even without Leonard on the roster. They understand the wear and tear that the regular season brings forth to players, and they know they can't afford Leonard to be battered and bruised come the postseason.
