Los Angeles Clippers superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard joins Milwaukee Bucks MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook as the only three players since 1954-55 to have at least 31 points, six rebounds and four assists in a game in under 24 minutes played.

Leonard accomplished the feat on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kawhi came into Saturday putting up 27.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists while shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 88.8 percent from the free-throw line. Those numbers will obviously increase after his stellar game against the Timberwolves.

Leonard and Paul George had a close relationship with the late Kobe Bryant. It’s not a stretch to say the two are going to dedicate the rest of this season to Kobe.

Even though Kawhi and PG are playing for the Clippers and not the Lakers, they are still California kids at heart who want to play the right way and honor Bryant. It is also worth noting that Doc Rvers said on Friday that the best way for the team to honor Kobe is by winning the Larry O'Brien trophy.

For the first time in franchise history, the Clippers are legitimate title contenders. Basketball fans in LA are hoping the Clips and Los Angeles Lakers meet in the Western Conference Finals.

Besides, a seven-game series with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George going up against LeBron James and Anthony Davis would be special to watch.
