The Los Angeles Clippers are headed to the second round of the playoffs as they beat the Dallas Mavericks in an epic Game 7 at Staples Center. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Marcus Morris Sr. were dynamic as the Clippers stole Game 7 and Luka Doncic was Luka Doncic with another impressive performance.

To add some more to the performances, Kawhi Leonard made history, becoming the first player to post a rather unique statline and was the first to do so since Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Leonard was electric, and nobody should be surprised. He dropped 20+ points in every game, including a terrific 45-point performance in Game 6 as the Clippers avoided elimination and forced a Game 7.

And then there's that young superstar from the Dallas Mavericks by the name of Luka Doncic, who broke a record previously set by NBA legend and the Icon Jerry West.

All that in a loss, although nobody in the right mind should be blaming Luka after yet another masterful performance that came up short of an upset over the Clippers. Luka has shown the basketball world that he is a superstar and the future face of the league as he puts on huge game after huge game.

Jerry West and Kobe Bryant are pure basketball legends, and anytime your name can be next to theirs, you have to feel good about yourself regardless of the outcome of the game itself.

For the Clippers, they will retool and head to Utah to face the Jazz. The Mavericks season has come to an unfortunate end, but make no mistake: these guys aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Luka Doncic is just getting started, and that's a scary thing to imagine.

These two stars put on tremendous performances all series long and the Clippers and Kawhi Leonard are doing all they can to make a trip to the NBA Finals.
