The Los Angeles Clippers will be shorthanded on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks, as the team has ruled out Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Patrick Beverley.

Since it's the second night of a back-to-back, Leonard isn't playing so he can get some rest. George, meanwhile, is still recovering from his hamstring injury and Beverley is out with a groin ailment:

The Clippers defeated the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. They are 31-13 on the season, which is good for second place in the Western Conference standings.

Leonard has appeared in 34 games this season for the Clippers. He's averaging 27.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists while shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from beyond the arc and 88.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Clippers will continue to load manage Leonard during the regular season since they want the two-time Finals MVP to be fresh and healthy for the playoffs.

It's unknown when George is going to return to the lineup, but one thing we do know is the Clippers are going to be cautious with him since hamstring injuries can flare up at any moment and the franchise needs George to be at 100 percent come playoff time.
