Los Angeles Clippers legendary play-by-play broadcaster Ralph Lawler says it's a “great day in Clipper Nation” after the team introduced Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Lawler, who is enjoying retirement, says Wednesday is the most TV he's watched since the OJ Simpson trial.

Wednesday was in fact a great day for the Clippers. It's not often you get to introduce two of the best players in all of basketball on the same day. With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the mix, some believe the Clippers are the betting favorite to win the 2020 championship.

LAC won 48 games last season without having a single All-Star on the team. Just imagine how lethal the Clippers are going to be now that they have a two-time Finals MVP and six-time All-Star on the roster. We also can't forget Doc Rivers is one of the best coaches in the league. Both George and Leonard wanted to play for Rivers, so you know the two superstars have profound respect for Doc.

The only way Wednesday could get better for Clippers fans is if Ralph Lawler announced he was coming out of retirement. It would be so much fun to hear Lawler call Clipper games next season with Leonard and George in the fold.

However, Lawler had a tremendous broadcasting career. He's earned the right to relax and just watch games as a fan now.
