Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams joined the prestigious 15k club on Wednesday in the team's 134-101 blitzing of the San Antonio Spurs at AT&T Center.

After scoring 15,000 career points, with a whopping 12,813 of those coming off the bench, Sweet Lou lamented on the historic career he's had.

“It’s a blessing, for where my career has gone. Everybody has dream of being a superstar guy in this league and we all feel like we can do things. For me to have 15,00 points off the bench, I’m incredibly honored. I’m sure I’m in great company north of 15,000. I just feel blessed to still be here and be able to continue my career,” the Clippers guard shared.

Lou Will also made sure to take it to Twitter to react to the milestone:

Now 34 years old in his 16th season in the NBA, Lou Williams continues to be an instant offense for the Clippers' second unit. Against the Spurs, the speedy scorer pitched in 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the field in 17 minutes.

While his role with LA has diminished a bit this year, it hasn't stopped Sweet Lou from racking up the accolades such as this one. His future with the team remains uncertain at the moment, especially with the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline set on Thursday.

The Clippers are believed to be chasing for an upgrade in the point guard spot and Williams' contract is expected to be unloaded in their bid.

Not a lot of players, meanwhile, can say they scored 15,000 points in their NBA career, let alone someone who's been considered a reserve for most of it. The three-time Sixth Man of the Year awardee, however, is extremely proud of what he has achieved and is at peace with the player he has become.
